Have a 92 toyota truck, 4x4, 22re. Just replaced fuel tank, pump, sending unit, and fuel level sending unit. First of all, I crossed up the the power wire to the pump putting on a new connector. Got everything connected and tried to start, truck would run a couple seconds then die. Thought I had a fuel pressure issue so replaced fuel pressure regulator. Still no start. Went back and checked wiring found the crossed wire, got that fixed, replaced pump again and tried to start it would not...

I have owned a 1992 3.0 4x4 , manual 5 speed, since it was new, white, crewcab and low shell camper. People are wanting to buy it weekly. I have over 300K miles, changed oil and filter every 3000miles. It's in mint condition Arizona truck. I don't feel like going through the 3.0/3.4 conversion. I'm thinking of selling and buying a 2004 Tacoma 4x4. I was told the 2004 Tacoma is a really great year with a manual trans. What do the "experts" say here? Maybe even a 2002 4-Runner manual trans...

New to the forum, I am going to buy a truck soon and could use some advice since I know nothing about Toyota Trucks. I live in south Texas, on the Gulf coast. Like to buy a used 4 x 4, Tacoma (or Tundra). I am not going to pull anything really so V6 is OK. Do want a 4 x 4 since I will be on the beach allot and sometimes the weather gets crazy (hurricanes / flooding). I would like to be able to drive it Hwy as well as city. I'm an old guy so I don't need anything super performance, more...

I have a 2001 Tacoma TRD Off Road with a manual transmission that I’m looking to get rid of to someone who needs parts or would like to salvage it. The frame is rusted beyond repair. The body, interior and all other parts are in good and working condition. It has approximately 337,000 miles. It was my personal day to day truck for a long time and I kept it in good working condition. I was in college when the frame recall was mailed out so I never got it and therefore didn’t know about it...

I wanna be sure before i buy new one. 2003 taco 2.4L 2wd 5sp 73k miles(not a typo)
2003 Toyota Tacoma Factory Service Manual page SF-25 says 2-3 ohms at 68°F and 0.9-1.3 ohms at 104°F. I get consistent repeatable reading of 162k ohms on 200k DVM scale at 80°F. I cooled it in the fridge and checked the 32°F reading and I get a reading for under 1 second, then it goes infinite. Each time I try, it does the same thing. I get a reading, then it goes infinite. It should be 4-7 ohms. As...
