First time DIY coolant "flush" and transmission "flush". ●Drain out radiator, filled with 1 gal. of distilled water. Cycled. Drain out a second time. Used 22 oz of prestone radiator flush+cleaner and topped off with distilled water again. Still has a slight orange tint. Been running it for around town for for past 2 days with max cabin heat ?. its been 65 - 70° past 2 days. Got a 3 hr+ trip tomorrow after which I plan on flushing once again with distilled water until its draining completely clear. I have 2 gallons of motorcraft yellow concentrated coolant (VC-13-G) on hand to get my 1:1 r ..read more

I've got a '21 and there's some moulding/weatherstriping attached to the wheel wells right where the lower part of the rear doors close.
I've found, on a couple occasions them pulled away from the body along the middle. I'd like to get them tacked back up but don't want something that'll never come back off either.

Just bought a new to me 2015 Limited. It still has the older version of sync (the red yellow blue green 4 split screen). What is the easiest way to get Apple CarPlay connectivity? Also, my phone works with Bluetooth but when i plug into a cord the auxiliary option (to play music) says there is no available media on my phone to play so the music doesn’t work? How can i fix this. Also, everytime i plug in or connect my phone it says “make sure to pay attention to roadways” the generic message is there a way to turn that off ?

Been thinking of purchasing an iPad & using it as a display in my 2021 XLT. THE MORE I THINK ABOUT IT THE MORE I WANT IT!!! I don’t use the monitor in the car for anything really with the exception of the radio (occasionally) & the back up monitor (I don’t really use that either cause I know how to back up). But I think it would bring some top notch functionality to the interior & driving/vehicle experience. Has anyone ever done this beautifully? Sleek & minimal? Any downsides I’m not seeing? Lmk ?

Do any of the new Ford Explorer trim levels offer adjustable pedals or possibly the Lincoln version? Thank you in advance.

Test drove this car the other day. It’s pretty clean one owner with 161k on it. True old person car, I let them.
I have two concerns with it. The rust on the right rear quarter panel and a slight rubble feeling under 30mph but smooths out as you get faster.
The gentleman and I agreed on $3800 if I am to buy it. I’m assuming the rust is more cosmetic and par for the course for New England and the tires are pretty low, maybe have 7k safe miles left in them, but may be the cause of the rubble feeling. Can anybody give me any input on if these are anything to worry about and if it sounds like ..read more

I have a 2019 Sport 4WD, my Window Sticker says ".20" MACH ALUM WHLS W/PTD PKTS". My wheels are the larger aluminum ones.
Is that M14 X 1.5 Thread Size? What "seat"?

Looking on eBay and Amazon, many sellers are using LED and Xenon interchangeably for the Explorer.
So which tech is in the headlight? LED or Xenon?

Can someone please tell me what the heck is going on. Noticed a few days ago when driving that when I turn the steering wheel gets a bit tight. Anyway I crawled under it today and was scared shitless as to what I found. I have no clue what it is but it looks bad. Lol can someone with more expertise please tell me what the heck is going on. Apologies for the low quality pictures I tried my best taking them.
