Hit a local pond after work on Monday. Fished from about 3 pm till 7 pm. Landed 14 with 4 in the 3.5 lb range. Several other good ones. All on soft plastics. Lost too many. Lots of light pick ups. Hard to get good hook set in kayak. Still plenty of fun ..read more

Trailering to Sandy Point about 7:30 am and approaching the Severn river bridge. See traffic coming to a halt - few cars skidding. Luckily I was back far enough to ease brakes on. Idiot in a flat bed tow truck - had stopped in slow lane - then cuts across all lanes of traffic. A car in fast lane shoulder was sitting there. Tow truck then backs up - about 1,000 feet. I went out after blue cats on Sunday, anchored up in 12'. After about 10 minutes I had my first bite and it was quickly evident that it was a white cat. As I was removing the hook to set it free, another rod doubled over. I reached for it with 1 hand and as I was pulling it out of the rod holder it slipped from my hand. I looked for a FAQ and couldn’t find one. My flame retardant suit is donned so let me have it. I just bought a little house on white point creek. Haven’t really fished much since I was a kid.
