I haven’t fished up around Biggs for a few years and I’ve got a question about accessing the Columbia from the launch down stream from Biggs. Is there still a channel from the launch site into the C or has that silted in? I know you can launch from Maryhill but that run back, when the wind kicks in, can get a bit sporty. Would you please share how you power your electric reel? Myself and a few friends have splurged and purchased electric reels and now we are debating what would be the best way to connect the reels to power. Using the alligator clips and a standalone battery doesn't look very elegant... The boat we will be using most of the time has receptacles for Scotty downriggers. We have a wonderful grandson that loves to fish, bow hunt, and playing in the outdoors, that is off to Umpqua Community College in the fall to join their Wrestling and Track Teams. He's gone to Oregon State High School competitions as a Wrestler and Pole Vaulter and is currently ranked 2nd in State as a Vaulter.
