Yes, I understand that people are for or against the war in Gaza. But I cannot understand that rich Jewish men are funding and fueling the anti-Israel protests. Why are they doing this, these are their own people? https://www.politico.com/news/2024/05/05...s-00156135 ..read more

Quote:Heading: "More than 300 bodies found in mass grave at Gaza [Nasser] hospital, says Gaza Civil Defense":  April 23, 2024. Source: https://edition.cnn.com/2024/04/22/middl...index.html However, there is more to this story than at first meets the eye, particularly when one recalls news reports about Gaza hospitals dating from November 2023:  Quote:Heading: "Al-Shifa: WHO says Gaza hospital unable to bury dead bodies":  November 14, 2023. "Around the hospital [here Al-Shifa] there are dead bodies which cannot be taken care of or not even be buried or taken away ..read more

Just learned the Hebrew word used for plague in the 10th plague is not the same as the Hebrew word used for plague for the other 9. And to make things even more interesting, that same Hebrew word used for the 10th plague only appears one other time in the 5 Books of Moses. In Leviticus 13. Hmmm, what is the connection? Rabbi Fohrman has an idea that connects the dots ..read more

Been interested in Judaism for a long time, planning to convert eventually. I've been keeping Kosher since 2018 but didn't really do it seriously until 2020. He used a prayer shaw, was in JfJ, had friends with Messianics but they were a bit dodgy in my opinion. Back to me having such a lengthy experienc ..read more

Happy Purim to al that celebrate, may we have the strength, courage and wisdom of Esther to make the right decisions to stand against our enemies who try to annihilate us. After reading through the Megillah I noticed something that generated a question. In Chapter 5, Verse 14 it says - And Zeresh his wife and all his friends said, "Let them make a gallows fifty cubits high, and in the morning say to the king that they should hang Mordecai on it, and go to the king to the banquet joyfully." The matter pleased Haman, and he made the gallows. Then, later in the next chapter it says - Chapter ..read more
