skills close to none, but turned out well! I put rubber mat on base and top, spray painted it. First time ever painting anything, so nothing professional here.
Haven't put anything on the middle yet to hold the lighter weights, but the space is there if I ever need it.
Oh and the caster wheels make it so easy to move!

What is up everyone... Welcome to the Targeted Talk... where we take a topic pertinent to the home gym owner and do what we do best... spend way too much time thinking about and talking about it!
Current Topic
It is hotter than a hot dog on a stick in the summer with some hot sauce and those fiery hot cheetohs... or something.
July has been a hot one, and August is on the way and probably gonna be a hot one too. So the question is... how the hell do you lift in your garage when it is so hot?
Fans?
AC?
You don't?

Since Rogue is incapable of making a cheap plate loaded lat pulldown attachment for their racks, I decided to rig something up when I saw that Walmart had an attachment for $50 (https://www.walmart.com/ip/725090507). Took a little more finagling than I would’ve liked because of the height differences, but the final result is very solid and a big improvement over the typical pulleys with loading pin setup I previously was using.

Idk about you guys but I feel like I spend half my GHD time trying to get it adjusted for a given exercise (and I do half a dozen different ones in a given workout)… wife is the same way… maybe after a few months it’ll be natural but it sure isn’t right now. So I got some vinyl numbers and wrote the correct number down in my workout app for each exercise… Probably the highest ROI $2 I’ve spent in the gym haha
