Hi, I’m hoping someone may be able to help with identifying a large Mid Century lamp I have, I’ve been told it’s in the style of Tasca Fantoni but without a signature I only have a series of letter and numbers to go by.  Appreciate any help.  +1 statistics: Posted by Jaymac2088 — 9:36 AM - 1 day ago ..read more

I have two platters similar in size and design and from what I can determine we’re made by the same artist. One broke, sadly, and I need to find out more about it (both actually), such as to the maker, the year they were made, their value, and someone who could repair the broken platter. (I tried posting this message through my desktop but had difficulty with loading the photos. I’m trying again with my iPhone). Thank you. Dear all, I just found this forum and I hope you can help me. I have this large, wonderful vase, about 48cm high, and I would like to know where it was made, and approximately when. Google led me to a "hydra apothecary vase" of about the same shape. I have found several similar vases ranging from the 17th to the 20th century, but I can't seem to find information about the mark, or where it dates from, and I don't know anything about Italian pottery so I desperately need some expert help. The 3 masks have actual holes in the mouths, the bottom one with a piece of cork in it. Your help would be ..read more

Beautiful lamp my mother acquired possibly in Italy in 1965 or in Sydney around same time. It was knocked over at her aged care and I am trying to find a value for insurance claim.   Any help with identifying age and possible value would be great.    Mum has alzheimers and doesn't recall how it happened, only that she came to her room and found it like that.  So I am very worried and struggling to identify any relevant information.  Thank you. statistics: Posted by theodora67 — 8:43 AM - Today ..read more

I have recently inherited this sculpture by Zaccagnini. I was wondering how to date it?.  I have read the wonderful essay by Walter on the topic, so I am a little familiar. I was also wondering as I can see a signature on the top of the piece, but it is very hard to identify, are there any references to the sculptors names who worked for the factory? Any help in this regard would be much appreciated.  Regards Gordon statistics: Posted by TIGER CLAW — 6:37 PM - Today ..read more

Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone can help me identify these gorgeous vase? It looks like a piece from the Bitossi Blue Rimini collection. But I’ve never seen one with the two handles before. It is quite heavy and it does have a handwritten mark. Thank you! Tom statistics: Posted by TwhN — 11:22 AM - 1 day ago ..read more
