5'7 109lb (numbers around my real numbers cause idk why i have to give legit numbers) I possibly didn't eat well for some time, got medical issues possibly because of it, and lost a lot of strength in many ways. I really don't want to gain more weight but I'd consider trying harder to eat a normal amount every day. Will I get my strength and medical health back if I am eating around 1,500 calories daily but exercising a bit more intense and don't gain weight? If I put nutrients into my body then I should still be ok? Gaining weight is a really awful feeling. Please don't judge me. Can't ask a ..read more

Looking to under why I’ve had reoccurring issues for past several months:
42F Healthy - no drugs or drinking Adderall for ADHD I do consume nicotine pouches but started having issues while I quit for over a year
Notable situations: - Late last summer I did Daxxify in forehead/inbetween brows. Had terrible side effects, severe sinus pain, headaches, nerve pain in face/neck, anxiety. Had a CT scan - it was clear. It lasted 2 weeks. I’ve used Botox for years without incident.
November 2023: sinus pain with clear discharge that eventually became thick/yellow so was put on antibiotics and it cle ..read more

M40. I’ve been going to the same barbershop for the last couple of years and each barber has a compressed air gun that is wired with spiral tubing and runs through the walls somehow. They use the compressed air to clean hair off of clients a few times during each haircut. I didn’t think twice of this until recently when I saw a Reddit thread about compressed air at a factory severely injuring someone. Is it commonplace/safe for barbers to use this on their clients? I’m assuming the PSI is much lower at a barbershop. Sometimes I can feel the air going into my ears but it never hurts.

I’m a 20 year old woman, 5’4 and 114 pounds. I saw my doctor yesterday concerning some shortness of breath and dizziness and hot flashes. I also have a long history of panic attacks and anxiety. He listened to my lungs and ran an EKG and said everything was fine. I’ve been having concerns about COPD but he said he doubts it’s a pulmonary issue and double checked listening to my lungs. I went home feeling pretty reassured until I reviewed my EKG results. I see sinus arrhythmia and low QRS voltage? When I looked up what low QRS voltage meant, it funnily enough showed me COPD. My doctor said eve ..read more

Stats: 25M, 5’10, not a smoker, antidepressants.
My family member has had chronic pain in his penis for the past several years. He believes it‘s a result of an abnormal masturbation method as an adolescent. He noticed his penis beginning to shrink and sudden movements causing severe pain to the point that it has made him experience suicidal thoughts. He can masturbate maybe once a year at most, but his penis is virtually never erect. He believes his penile tissue has begun to deteriorate.
He’s gone to two urologists. The first classified this as erectile dysfunction and rather rudely told my ..read more

23 year old male 6'4 200 pounds white.
For the last month (mid March) and a half I've been getting night sweats on and off.
For some background information, from 06/2023 to 03/2024 I was smoking weed pretty consistently. It got to the point were I was smoking a good amount pretty much every night (I only smoked before I went to bed). The last night I smoked weed in March I took a hit from a bong and felt kind of off afterwards. That night I had night sweats. Ever since I've been getting them on and off. I've gone about a week without getting them at all but for the most part I've been getting ..read more

19 Male,54kg 179cm. I live in Sweden. My blood work is normal,no anemia, calprotectin is normal, stool tests proved that I have bleeding.I have had stomach issues for years and for about a year now I have had frequent bright red blood in my stool. I am not constipated and medicine that softens stool does not help it. My stomach is sensitive and I often feel bad and ill after eating. I myself have pushed for a colonoscopy but they really keep ignoring it (the person making that decision at the hospital doesnt see reason????) My calprotectin is normal so there is no inflammation, and I have had a ..read more

Been dealing with this for over a week now, I started taking 500mg of ciprofloxacin twice a day but I’m not sure if it’s improving. Still hurts to swallow and in a lot of pain, think I’ve been taking the close to the limit of acceptable pain pills (ibuprofen/acetaminophen) for 5 days now so I just want to make sure I’m on the right track. Are those white looking parts pustules? Would this be consider tonsilitis? I was told to take Ciprofloxacin 500mg every 12 hrs. I started on Saturday and these pics are from today so it still looks very bad. They didn’t swab for cultures so I don’t know what ..read more

I’m really worried about my almost 17 y/o son. He is struggling to eat and losing weight and at this point it’s adversely affecting his mental health. He is 116 pounds and 5’ 6”. He has very little appetite or urge to eat. When he does eat, he says he has a strange feeling in his throat that makes it uncomfortable to eat. This is accompanied by burping and a feeling of pressure to release the burp but it comes right back.
His labs, thyroid, cbc, everything is perfect. He has had H pylori testing, an endoscopy, a scope by ENT, gastric emptying test, and been seen by an endocrinologist. He has ..read more
