M40. I’ve been going to the same barbershop for the last couple of years and each barber has a compressed air gun that is wired with spiral tubing and runs through the walls somehow. They use the compressed air to clean hair off of clients a few times during each haircut. I didn’t think twice of this until recently when I saw a Reddit thread about compressed air at a factory severely injuring someone. Is it commonplace/safe for barbers to use this on their clients? I’m a 20 year old woman, 5’4 and 114 pounds. I saw my doctor yesterday concerning some shortness of breath and dizziness and hot flashes. I also have a long history of panic attacks and anxiety. My blood work is normal,no anemia,calprotectin is normal,stool tests proved that I have bleeding.I have had stomach issues for years and for about a year now I have had frequent bright red blood in my stool. Been dealing with this for over a week now, I started taking 500mg of ciprofloxacin twice a day but I’m not sure if it’s improving. Still hurts to swallow and in a lot of pain, think I’ve been taking the close to the limit of acceptable pain pills (ibuprofen/acetaminophen) for 5 days now so I just want to make sure I’m on the right track. I’m really worried about my almost 17 y/o son. He is struggling to eat and losing weight and at this point it’s adversely affecting his mental health. He is 116 pounds and 5’ 6”.
