If you're wondering what this thread is about then there's a recording of my granddad singing Nat King Kole's Unforgettable which was done for my grandma in 1953 just after they first met. They still have the 78rpm vinyl somewhere. As mentioned in another post next month which is May 2024 they reach their 70th wedding anniversary. I only played the vinyl once around 2007 and although you could still hear it the record jumped a lot.
