Scattered clouds added atmosphere to the occasion.
The crowd cheered when the sun hid and when it re-emerged. It went decidable cold without the sun. I have heard that people cried it was so awesome but I did not see anybody cry.
On our side of the river was a crowd of mostly Canadians. On the other side was New York State. We could hear the other side cheering at slightly different times because the clouds moved and gave us slightly different views of the eclipse ..read more

We travel to Niagara by train.
Day and night of the Solar Eclipse.
Scattered clouds added atmosphere to the occasions.
