[undergrad: inorganic] NMR prediction for SeF4

I’ve solved the prediction for 19F but can’t figure out that for 77Se. My classmate said it would be 2 signals both showing triplet pattern, but I think it would be just 1 singlet peak, since there are no other atoms on adjacent Fs. Could anyone kindly help with this and explain the reason please? submitted by /u/IdkWTFshOuLdIcAlL [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

“What is the chemical equation for elephant toothpaste? What type of chemical bond do these elements have?” I did an elephant toothpaste experiment in class and I need help with this follow up question. I put H202+C6H12O6—->C6H18O6 for the chemical equation but I’m not the best at chemistry so I need some help. The elements we’re talking about are hydrogen peroxide and yeast too. I think it’s a chemical bond too but I’m unsure and I’m trying to do good on this assignment. submitted by /u/DeDerpQueen [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
