Collegiate Baseball named pitcher Paul Skenes as their 2023 National Player of the Year while naming Skenes, outfielder Dylan Crews, and third baseman Tommy White as First-Team All-Americans. Crews, a junior from Longwood, Fla, leads the SEC and is seventh nationally with a .420 batting average while also leading the league in on-base percentage (.567), runs scored (82), and walks (58). LSU (43-15) earned the No. 5 national seed and will serve as the host for the Baton Rouge Regional. It is the 27th time in program history that the Tigers will host a NCAA Regional.
