Photo by Jonathan Bachman/Getty Images Daniels is a projected top five pick in the 2024 NFL draft. LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels will enter the 2024 NFL draft as a consensus top-five pick. After a breakout season that saw the 6’4 mobile quarterback bring the Heisman trophy back to Baton Rouge, Daniels’ stock rose tremendously. While known for his incredible running ability, Daniels has an above-average pocket presence and is quick while making reads. The dual-threat quarterback is also a gunslinger consistently throwing deep balls on a rope. This Jayden Daniels play isn’t a crazy highlight ..read more

It’s over (probably) Stop me when you’ve heard this one before: LSU got run ruled in a conference game. For the third time in four weekends, LSU closed out a conference weekend with a whimper. Four weeks ago LSU was run-ruled 15-5 by Mississippi State; the weekend after that, Florida beat LSU 12-2; Saturday was more of the same, as Vanderbilt claimed the series with a 13-3 win. LSU has now lost all four of their conference series. This weekend against Vandy followed the same exact script as LSU’s series against Florida. LSU looked good in game one, blew game two, and got run-ruled in game thr ..read more

The meet begins at 5:00 p.m. on ESPN+ with Alex Perlman and Anastasia Webb on the call. This will be anything but smooth sailing just like the rest o ..read more

Photo by Andy Hancock/NCAA Photos/NCAA Photos via Getty Images Kim Mulkey and Matt McMahon each add a top prospect There’s no such thing as the offseason in college athletics these days and both LSU basketball programs added four-star prospects to their rosters. The women’s program was first as Kim Mulkey’s staff added four-star guard Bella Hines out of New Mexico. Hines is the No. 31 overall player in the 2025 class and the top player in the state. This past season Hines averaged 32.5 points and 6.7 assists which to me is the bigger reason for excitement. LSU’s biggest weakness was the lack o ..read more
