Remis blinds for Sprinter

I am researching a purchase of Remis front cab covers for our Sprinter. Looking for windshield and side windows blinds quick to deploy not requiring large volume of storage. Our current home made cover is a little cumbersome to deploy. I checked with Eurocampers, Hengs Industries and was told that they are no longer distributing Remis product. Eurocampers fellow told me that the issue was with airbags with newer vans. It is still available in Europe but no one I found want to sell them to USA. Remis is still listing this product on their product catalog. Ant help would be welcome, thank you ..read more

1994 Coachmen

Hello, I’m from the Midwest. Grew up camping, fishing, riding in the back of a pick up truck going “to town”. Traveled across the US in a class C with my family while I was in high school and LOVED it. As my kids are older now, I am entering a different time of my life, looking forward to a sort of traveling that fits my budget and energy. I bought a 1994 Coachmen from my parents (that they bought 10 years ago and rarely used). It was not used for several years but I have been driving it locally 1-2 per week for 3 months. New tires and a few other maintenance updates. They have comprehensive m ..read more

Water Heater

Disclaimer. It was actually a nice trip. Cool compared to Phx. Even ran the heater one night when it dipped into the 50s. So the Suburban water heater. Model SW6D. Worked for the first few days fine. Then suddenly wouldn't ignite. Nothing. No clicks, etc. There's a reset button on the thermostat/limiter housed beneath a rubber/plastic cover with an area to depress to reset. Only that area on the cover was cracked open. Plan to take off the cover (one screw virtually unaccessable of course) and see how the switch looks and test for continuity there. I know there's a circuit board inside under ..read more

2015 Roadtrek SS Agile -- Rear Coach Battery Disconnect?
Class B Forums

Hi, I have the 2015 Roadtrek SS Agile -- 4 AGM batteries for the coach with 2 batteries under the hood and 2 batteries that are mounted under the rear of the vehicle where the spare tire would normally be mounted. All these batteries are dead and need replacement. I also have the underhood generator and 3 100 watt solar panels. The rear battery tray release (pins that need to be removed) are frozen and we cannot get this battery tray to release even after using penetrating oil, placing a floor jack under the tray and relieving the pressure, and trying to tap out the pins. The previous owner h ..read more

Auxilary fuse block in front of battery on a 2006 RoadTrek Adv

I was going nuts trying to figure out why my new(ish) to me 2006 RT kept losing voltage to the Victron I put in to charge the LiFePo batteries. Took an hour of crawling down around and under to find out one of the two previous owners blew the fuse that goes from the starting battery to the isolator. Then instead of replacing it, they wired in a circuit breaker of indeterminate amperage via jumpers and electrical tape:banghead:. Best guess is that it is 20 amps because when the Victron wanted the full 30 it can use, the breaker kept tripping. Off for a second then resetting. I understand why a ..read more

I recenly purchased a 2017 Roadtrek SS Agile. The pilot seats AND king size bed set-up are very impressive. Has anyone seen seat/upholstery care instructions? These have just a bit of "grungyness" probably from lack of use. I want to be careful as these look like leather components. Thanks, Neil ..read more

AGM Battery tray - 2017 Roadtrek SS Agile

I recently purchased a 2017 Roadtrek SS Agile. ("All-Electric" build) It sat on a dealer lot for approx 1 year and has some normal surface rust. I took some pictures of the AGM battery tray and the metal condition was a bit troubling. Has anyone had issues with this part/solution? Any advice appreciated.
