Accumulator tank
Class B Forums
by Dave-DJ

I have been very happy with my new Thor. But, the water pump issue was driving me crazy. Thor went cheap and did not install an accumulator tank, this reduces pump cycling. After running the water the pump would go on and off for a long time. With the accumulator tank 0.75L, with 1/2 MNPT port fitting after the pump, the pump runs and then stops! This is a safety issue also, as it helps reduce water pipe breaks ..read more

Missing water heater valves RT 06P190

I drained my water supply and tanks today for the first time since purchasing this camper. I found that the water heater doesn't have valves on the supply and output lines, as shown in the manual. The only benefit I can see to those valves is if one sprays/puts water back into the water heater through the anode hole, it will all stay in the water heater instead of getting pushed into the cold water line. Now that I'm writing this, I did see some small debris coming out into the toilet during the final purge of the system, perhaps that's what I was seeing. Are there other yet unrealized (by me ..read more

Looking for end cap or valve for 2021 Roadtrek Zion macerator hose
Class B Forums

Greetings everyone. I just picked up my second Roadtrek, a low-mileage 2021 Zion SRT. The macerator hose on my first Roadtrek, a 2011 190 Popular, was equipped with a simple plastic end cap and ball cock valve, so when I stored the hose nothing could leak. The hose on my 2021 does not have an end cap or valve, so when I put the hose back into its storage compartment anything left in it will pour out--not a big deal yet as I just emptied some clean water but needless to say the black water drainage experience will be less pleasant. How have others on the Forum handled this? I have tried every s ..read more

Dodge Roadtrek 190 Water Issue
Class B Forums

We have a 97 Dodge RT 190 V with a water leak that soaks the floor by the passenger seat when using city water hookups. The first time this happened I had the water valve at the connection turned the wrong way and water flowed from the overfill in the passenger doorway. My bad. However I learned from my mistake and made another trip and used the water connection, valve turned the correct way. I made the connection about 5 pm. At midnight the floor by the passenger seat was soaked. According to my pressure gauge I had 30 psi going through the system. Everything seemed to work fine, just had the ..read more

Nova 20C Li3 - Promaster with 2nd Alternator Issue

The following instances have occurred in our 2024 Nova 20C Li3 built on a 2023 Promaster 3500. It was delivered with about 1700 miles and currently has about 2700 miles. With the lithium battery being fully charged at the onset, after being parked for about 20 minutes with the A/C running, I turned the A/C and Inverter off, started the engine and began driving on a residential street. The engine seemed to hesitate a couple times. At the end of the block I stopped at a stop sign and then began my turn left. The van started to roll but hesitated and then didn't seem to want to move as the engin ..read more

My fantastic fan has stopped working and I am troubleshooting for cause. The next step is to check the function of the external on/off switch. In order to do so, I will need to place my upper body weight on/across the roof of my Chevy 190 roof. IYO, could this place too much stress on the roof and/or its seal with the chassis ..read more

AGM to Lifepo4 - Roadtrek zion 2018

Hey friends. I decided to swap out my old AGM 12V house battery with a Lifepo4 12V 100ah battery. The 2000W inverter/charger (can't find a brand name) doesn't have a lifepo4 setting, so i changed it to a "gel european" setting that has the Charge V (14.4V) and Float V (13.eight) similar to what i've seen recommended on the net for lifepo4. Is this ok? Hoping for a sanity check from this community. It's also possible that the inverter/charger is not compatible at all. Will have to do the same for the solar controller. Thoughts? Add a power "Drop" in Closet
Class B Forums
by phantomjock

Greetings - I want to add 110/120v power plug in the closet behind the driver's seat. A convient plug is located above the microwave in the cabinet in the galley. The shelf and wall look stable and easy enough to drill a 1.25 hole. But there ia a "Mystery space" and I wonder what surprises might lurk there for by drill bit! A few pictures from other 170s to help explain where I'm talking. This is a view inside a 170 cabinet - the mystery is behind the wall: I'll have to figure out removing the microwave next, but can do that after I can confirm that this is an OK plan. Hoping some ..read more
