Hello all new to site Have a 96 Cherokee 4.0 will not start Here’s what I did please be patient Replaced crank sensor did not help so I started doing some research unplugged all 5 volt sensors still nothing checked power to pcm has 12 volts checked grounds seem ok so I hooked a scanner to it could not locate anything so I assumed the pcm was bad so I replaced it still nothing at a loss what to do any help would be great ..read more

I bought my 87 Cherokee a few months ago and found the fan was unplugged. I have it plugged in and it starts running as soon as I turn the key on. I have read it is supposed to be a sensor that turns it on at 210 I do not know if that is true but I doubt it is supposed to be on all the time does anyone know what I need to do to get this working properly ..read more

I am looking for suggestions/recommendations. This is my 1987 Jeep Cherokee Loredo the 4.0 and a 5-speed Dana 44 in the rear and Dana 35 in the front. The Jeep is going to be used for streets and trails no rock crawling I am in Costa Rica and there will be mud it rains a lot in the Caribbean. I pulled a tire and hub on my 87 Cherokee XJ I bought a couple of months ago the brakes look great neither wheel cylinder is leaking the hardware looks good and I have about half-life on the shoes the drum is smooth I am considering getting a set of shoes and swapping them out with a resurfacing of the drum. It says on the drum max is 10.060 so from that it would appear I have one more resurface before the drums would be a MAX. Is this a good plan of there something about the rear brakes on...
