Dynamically Generating Document Samples — Part Two We’ve already looked at ways to generate document samples using Adobe Acrobat Services. But how can we do even better?
In our previous post, we discussed how to use Adobe Acrobat Services to generate PDF “samples” of documents.
So for example, an online bookseller could use our APIs to automate the process of creating a 5-page preview of the book with content prepended in front describing how the file was a sample only.
While that process worked well (and be sure to read that post!), we can take it a step further and create eve ..read more

By Alexandru Calistru, EMEA Security Coordination Center (SCC) Manager
Earlier this year, leaders in our Adobe Romania office in Bucharest engaged our teams in a program designed to provide guided opportunities for out-of-the-box thinking, design, and innovation separate from their “day jobs.” Called “Garage Week,” this experiential program allows for broad experimentation from our security teams and other local teams to try and solve particularly persnickety problems they have always wanted to work on. We took an opportunity to sit down with Alexandru Calistru, manager of our EMEA Secur ..read more

How can Adobe Acrobat Services help with things such as offering “teaser” samples of documents that are up for sale?
Many organizations offer documents for sale, and as part of that process, they will sometimes create a sample of the document to offer online for free.
As an example, an online technical bookseller may offer the first thirty pages as a ‘teaser’ to help encourage sales.
Creating these samples could be done by hand, but this is a great example of where Adobe Acrobat Services can help automate the process.
In this blog, we’ll demonstrate a simple example of this pro ..read more
