Alpha Squad (The Lunar Naturals Book 1 ) by V S Hall is a slightly intense read leaning more towards coming of age YA book set in distant future where terrorism and politically unrest have eclipsed the world. A terrorist attack leaves Vin’s world shattered but he discovers that he has some extraordinary powers and he is recruited by an organisation to bring down the most daangerous teroorist. I received Legacy of Heroes by Daniel P Riley for review through Booktasters and I am glad that I did. A Simple plot, Not toomany overlapping characters ot many events and backstories crowding, continuous momentum but not too crazy. This story never gets boring or overwhelming. Language is simple and easy to read, the flow of the story is good. The characters though have superpowers but have their own fears and weaknesses which gives a depth to their personality. Reflection on a Best Friend’s Wealth by Marie Cassagnol has a lot of potential. The plot is good,language is simple and characters are very relatable. But doesn’t live up to the potential because of lack of good editing, poor presentation (paragraghs??) and many paras were repeated at the end of the book. The repititions and the poor grammar break the flow of a great story. And moreever leave the morals to the readers and not to spell it. There is also a lack of continuity sometimes. Nini and The Lost Panda by Di Jiao is a lovely kids book. It has simple language and easy words fot the young readers so they can enjoy thoroughly. And the illustrations are just to amazing. Girl in the Leaves by James C glass is my 3rd book in the Rebecca Watson series – detective that I have started adoring detective with no super powers no extra sensory enhancements and but a vulnerable human with keen observations and logical thinking . In this story her personal turmoil also is payed out.
