Hi all,
I was planning to travel solo to a few places in Karnataka and had a few questions.. any help would be greatly appreciated!!
My draft plan is to leave from Pune by train and stop at Birur / Kadur. From there I would go by bus to Chikkamagaluru and stay at a hostel there, explore for a bit and chill. After that, I want to ideally go to Agumbe and then a beach place like Maravanthe (from where I could board a coastal train back to Panvel which would be my end point).
Is late May feasible in terms of weather in these places?
Is Agumbe easily accessible by bus from Chikkamagaluru? Or ..read more

Basically the title. My friends and I (all women), maybe 4 in total, want to go on a trip. We can go in the last week of June/first week of July.
Budget is not really a bar, but obviously should be worth it. So far we've considered Kerala (but not sure because of the rains), Pondicherry (but not sure because of the heat), and Ladakh.
We don't want to go somewhere mainstream tourist-y and we're not PARTICULARLY fond of mountains.
I personally love the rain and the whole monsoon aesthetic, but I also don't want to get stuck in landslides or something.
Please recommend away!
