Help on crutches with a transfer.

I have a transfer at Sydney airport. Early morning on a weekend. I fly on a domestic flight. I have to get from the domestic terminal, with multiple bags, to the international check in. Problem is, I’m on crutches. No way I can carry the bags alone. It also seems to be an issue because I’m flying different airlines for the domestic and then international, neither airline seems to want to help with the in between transfer. I’ve contacted SYD airport, they said contact the airlines (which I already had). Thoughts ? submitted by /u/forthebigscreen [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Apologies if this is a dumb question. I have an 8 hour layover, can I leave the airport then come back and have enough time to go through customs?

I'm canadian and will be flying out from edmonton to vancouver then waiting around for eight hours before flying out to san francisco and due to the long wait time, I was wondering if there would be enough time to visit a friend in the area while I'm in town or if there won't be enough time submitted by /u/cobra1104 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hey! I have a flight in a couple of weeks. Usually I take a shuttle to the airport, but I was wondering if anyone knew how reliable lyft is. If you schedule ahead will they try to ensure you get there? submitted by /u/Careful_Panda_5802 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi, I'm planning to travel from South America to India, all flights, from going to coming back are at least two layovers, one in Doha and another one in Madrid or Brazil depending on which option I pick, airlines will be Qatar Airways and Latam or GOL. I'm planning on taking more leave days than the ones I have and just work my way to leave without pay, I may see this being approved now, but in about 3 months before my flight, there is a chance I'll get a new employer and it may require me to just comply with my days off, no leave without pay and no chance to work abroad, so that leaves me wi ..read more

I’m traveling to Europe from the US with young kids who are heavily reliant on their sound machines! I don’t think a regular plug adapter will work given the voltage difference. Does anyone have any recommendations of (preferably cheap) travel sound machines that will work in Europe? Thanks so much! submitted by /u/drinkicedcoffe [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Best way to travel from New Brunswick, Canada to Virginia, United States?

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get from New Brunswick to Virginia without spending too much money. I have about $2000 CAD ($1464.40 USD) and can't afford to spend too much money on the method of travel, as I have to be able to afford a motel to stay in when I arrive. I don't have a license, so unfortunately I can't drive myself there. I apologize if this is a dumb question; I'm fairly new to traveling and have tried figuring this out on my own, but all the transport sites I've looked at are very confusing and help would be really appreciated. Thank you so much! submitted by /u/Ifor ..read more
