Summer is coming to an end and it may not give us quite what we needed, but it's time to look beyond and go into space. We want to celebrate this new period of time with a new exhibition in our store. We would like to introduce you to the collages of Mijke Eryng and Menumortu in which the human body, mind and space are central. Both artists live in the city of Groningen and make collages of second-hand books and magazines, which completely fit our store's sustainable mindset. Menumortu explores the mix of fear and kindness in which conceptions of the human body and mind are central. His w ..read more

Sustainability is the most important topic for us in our store and in all the choices we make. We try to do everything as sustainable as possible, but we are still on our journey to learn more. Aren't we all? We were looking for the most sustainable way to get our own bags into the store. Our advice is of course to bring your own bag to the store, but sometimes it is handy to get a bag to carry your new vintage gems with you. Luckily we found in our journey a company where you can order stamps made from hardwood from sustainably managed forests and the stamp itself is made from ecological r ..read more

We released our own Viva! Vintage song with videoclip! And we never thought it would be such a hit! We have completely recovered from all the promotion around our own Viva! Vintage jingle. We are very happy with all the responses we have received. Most of all, thank you, we really felt like rock stars! When we put the video clip online, it was viewed more than we had followers within a few hours. That is why the Groningen online news site Sikkom called us to interview us. They said our video went viral, which we could never have guessed beforehand. Read sikkom's full article about us an ..read more

Vintage clothing is becoming increasingly popular, which of course makes us very happy! But unfortunately, it also has a small downside. More and more often I run into people who confuse secondhand clothing with vintage clothing, but of course second-hand is not automatically vintage. I see people selling second-hand clothes online for example on United Wardrobe, Vinted or on various vintage clothing groups on Facebook. The sellers indicate that what they sell is “vintage” clothing, but from the fit, material, label or brand I can tell that the clothes they sell, most of the time, aren’t reall ..read more

We all know it: but it’s crisis. We were interviewed this week by Dagblad van het Noorden, the local newspaper. Because unfortunately there is little or no support for entrepreneurs who started their business in 2020. We are very happy that attention is being paid to this group of entrepreneurs, who can as a result really use support in these times! Because we started the store on January 15, 2020, we in other words unfortunately do not receive any support from the government. Read the full article by DvhN here. We have For example picked up our modeling life again and our webshop is onli ..read more
