A few days back, while I was traveling from Dehradun to Mussoorie via the busy highway, I noticed a flash of reddish-brown fur dart out from underneath a parked truck. Upon closer inspection, I saw that it was a Red Giant Flying Squirrel. I knew I had to rescue this little creature before it was hurt by passing cars or other predators.
