The legislation creates a new crime of “coerced criminal abortion by means of fraud” to give law enforcement proper means to prosecute those who use deceit and manipulation to harm pregnant women and their unborn children. On Friday, March 12,2024 college students from Louisiana State University, Southern University, Baton Rouge Community College, Fran University and Southeastern came together to put on “Pie a Prolifer” on LSU’s campus. Students had the opportunity to purchase a pie and choose who they wanted to pie.
