A interesting TV episode in the wrong place!

Before I get into this, I want to point out that the series this is from is on Netflix and is about sexual behaviour, which is not a great start. The description for the series is as follows - Shin Dong-Youp and Sung Si-Kyung boldly explore the sex cultures of the Netherlands and Germany, mixing hands-on experiences with revealing interviews. The two guys are from Korea, where nudity is hidden away from the public view, and they are not used to seeing it. I was drawn to the series as the episode lists that they go to a mixed-gender spa and meet nudists calling for body freedom in episode two ..read more

Two current problems with the naturist community

This is a problem that the naturist community seems to have, a die-hard collective that feels being nude from the waist down is acceptable and doesn't see the problem. I will try to explain it and see if we can all agree this is unacceptable. We are naturists. We live our lives as nude as possible, as that is our lifestyle. We go on nude walks and hikes at different times of the year and in different temperatures. When we go out, we are naked, and people can see we are naturists, and that is why we are nude. If we all started to go out nude from the waist down, then would the message be blurre ..read more

An excellent positive naked walk

I had planned to go for a walk this weekend, and on Saturday, I got up bright and early and checked the weather. The forecast was for an overcast day with 10 c temps and wind, but the wind chill was the same, so I decided to go on the walk. I entered the camper van and drove to a back lane near Rickney, East Sussex. Upon arrival, I grabbed my walking boots and backpack, set off into the field, and walked next to the river. I got out of sight of the road and stripped off, putting my clothes into my backpack, leaving me just wearing my boots, socks and cap. I felt warm as I walked and soon reali ..read more

AI thoughts on naturists, nudists and nudity
Flying Naturist Blog

I have a thought the other day ... i wonder what AI thinks of naturists? Well here is the answer to it. Nudist Nudism, also known as naturism, is a lifestyle that embraces nudity in social and communal settings. The practice varies widely, from secluded beaches to dedicated resorts and clubs. Advocates of nudism often highlight its promotion of body positivity, freedom, and a connection with nature. Moreover, nudism fosters a sense of equality and acceptance, as it eliminates the barriers created by clothing. However, criticisms arise due to cultural, religious, and societal norms that perceiv ..read more

Why are we still hiding our nudity from the public eye?

Whilst I sat here earlier, I was reading about the Pride events and how they have become regular now, and this got me thinking about how the whole gay movement has succeeded in being recognised by the general public as a usual way to live. So why can naturists and nudists be accepted too? I will use the term gay to cover all homosexual people as it is more commonly used, as in gay pride etc. So looking back to how gay people were persecuted for their lifestyle back in the 1950s and how it wasn't accepted until the late 90s and the early 2000s and then only from people being brave to come out a ..read more

My current situation

I thought I would write a little update as I have been here for a while. So this is what is currently going on in my life - I need urgent back surgery! I started getting a bad back around three months back, and after seeing the chiropractor like normal, he told me I needed an MRI as something had gone wrong. I took this with a pinch of salt and carried on at work. Out of the blue, I started to get sharp pains in my lower spine. I was in agony on this particular day, so I decided to call the doctor, but they were useless as they had no appointments. I jokingly told a work colleague I needed to ..read more

Hastings Board Game Museum Event

A while back, I saw an event come onto the NothingOnEvents website for an evening at a board game museum in Hastings, and even though I am not a board game person, I thought it would be an interesting event, so I bought a ticket. I contacted NOE and asked if I could film and vlog it the same as I did at the i360 event, and it was agreed. So the evening was Friday 19th May, and I arrived outside the event around 30 mins early as normal. Other naturists began to arrive, and it was not long until I realised all, bar one, was members of East Sussex Naturists, of which I am the membership secretar ..read more

One persons action can have long time effect

One person's actions can have a severe effect. Last weekend I met up with a fellow naturist as he had decided to go for a nude walk. I had been out the day before up the south downs on a walk but decided to go anyway, even if my legs ached already. He picked me up, and we went to Friston Forest at about 5 pm. We expected it to be a little busy, but we knew some forest areas would be quiet. On arrival, we drove around different locations as there were still many people, and we wanted to be away from all so we could walk without issues. Eventually, we found a quiet part. We got out of the car an ..read more

Brighton i360 with Nothing on events

When I saw this event on the Nothing on events website, I eagerly bought my ticket in July as I had never been on the i360, and the idea of being nude was great. I had looked at all the options available and booked just for the flight as the meal was not something I eat, so it would be pointless. I had checked about photography and the possibility of me vlogging the event, and Adam had confirmed it was ok and I would be an official photographer. I was getting excited at the thought of going, and it got to a month before, and then I received the following email. Hi Nick, It is with great sadnes ..read more
