A child trafficking sting conducted by Texas authorities has led to the arrest of an Arkansas policeman who was charged with online solicitation of a minor. His bond was set at $100,000. The United States Department of Justice has announced that a Houston woman has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison after being convicted on 7 counts of aiding and assisting in preparing false tax returns. Right-handed reliever Jimmy Cordero has been suspended for the rest of the 2023 season for violating Major League Baseball’s Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy. Three persons have been charged in Houston for participating in a nearly $7 million Medicaid fraud and kickback scheme involving a local dental clinic, says United States Attorney for the Southern District of Texas Alamdar S. A Texas school superintendent was arrested by Harris County Precinct 1 law enforcement authorities along with 6 other men early this month as part of a sting operation aimed at the sex crime of online solicitation of a minor. According to Houston’s KPRC Channel 2, or Click2Houston, a Houston area teen has reported being molested on a United Airlines flight from Houston to Sacramento, California. The girl, 13, from Dayton in Liberty County, had taken a United flight from Houston to Sacramento when the molestation allegedly occurred. She was traveling without an adult, her mother having paid a $300 unaccompanied minor fee.
