Econet Wireless Now Allows Free Money Transfer From The Diaspora To Zimbabwe

Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals has made a startling revelation, uncovering a total of 44 individuals posing as doctors and staff members in an attempt to exploit patients since 2023.
In an official statement circulated via social media, the hospital disclosed that over the course of 16 months, their security team apprehended 44 impostors across various departments.
According to their statement, the impostors were posing as doctors, nurses or nursing school teachers. This was all in a bid to prey on patients and desperate potential students.

The Government has announced that parents can pay their children’s school fees using the Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG), among other currencies.
Schools are opening for the second term next week on 7 May.
Second Term Notice
Circular No.10 of 2022 from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education gave the leeway for parents to pay in ZiG.
Parents and guardians can pay school fees using ZiG currency at the prevailing official rate. Schools are also allowed to peg their fees against the United States dollar.
