Indigenous Bolivians claim share of sunken Spanish cargo
Members of three South American indigenous communities have filed a legal request to share any proceeds from the sunken treasure of a Spanish galleon if it's recovered. Colombia wants to claim the wreck and its contents but the indigenous peoples say their ancestors mined the metals. Lucy Fielder has more.

1891 was first target. Then wondered around trails digging mostly clad. Accidentally found a geo catch, eventually got on the elusive hammer Roosevelt clad dime... and a silver rosey before quitting. It was 50 and raining ? and just yucky out. But at least I got a few silvers for a birthday ? present.
It's the only site I've dug 5 different silver dimes. Canadian dime, 2 seated dime, 3 barbers, a mercury dime and a 1953 rosey. It deserves more detecting, but maybe when it's not so wet ..read more

Bought this frame over 35 yrs. ago An 80 yr. old lady, Hunted points her whole life, 30 miles outside freer Tx. Paid 1,000.00 for it. Never showed it, except to arrowhead book guy, but I wouldn't take out of frame. some are easy to identify, others not so much. Feel free. These were field finds the tiny ones. The frame is a mixture. It amazes me how the tiny ones can still have tip dings. One year I found a whole frame of tiny points and gave them as a gift to the owner.
