Hi there, I always use the cakewalk meter on each track to see if peaking and track is running too hot. I usually try to maintain each track around -6 db or maximum -4db. I noticed that if I use the youlean loudness meter 2 plugin on the same track and I compare the highest peak with the cakewalk embedded meter, there is a difference of 1db or so. I believe I should maybe rely on the Youlean meter for more precise measurement? What do you reckon ..read more

The attached files are screen shots.  The number number at the beginning of the sentence relates to the file name i.e.1. relates to NI-1 etc. 1.  I have started with an empty project in cakewalk by bandlab. 2.  Now, I create an instrument track. It doesn't happen often, but every now and then, Cakewalk will crash, stall out, or otherwise need to be closed while I'm working in a project. When that happens I'm usually 2-3 hours in on it. An "autosave" feature every 15 to 20 minutes would be loved. I know the files are huge. Hell, even just a pop-up that says "Don't forget to save" would be appreciated.  ..read more

My friend bought this generic musical interface and has windows 11 laptop.He downloaded bandlab and when he records onto say track 1 and is finished then arms track 2 track 1 records onto track 2 without him playing anything on it.then the same for trk 3,4,5 etc.... please help ..read more

Hey Guys it was my first session recording here last Wednesday 21.2.2024 Australia time anyway.. and it actually ended up being a very big and important thing for me, due to personnel happenings.. and one or more guys were definitely helping me in a big way.. How do i find out who they are.. there is no way the song would of been even close to the end result with out them and how does that all work?
