Is there any reason this wouldn't work? Is any worse for hair than the other things hair chalks are made of (calcium carbonate/bentonite etc).
Hair chalk is so cheap I can't imagine it's using any special safer pigments or anything.
I'd rather use it because I have a massive box and the pigment and colour range is better but I don't want to fuck up my kids hair.

My hair used to be pin straight and now this is what it looks like after I shower, let it air dry, and sleep on it. It’s pretty thin and frizzy and definitely needs a chop. I’m not sure how to style it or care for it because of the friziness so I always wear it up. I use native shampoo and conditioner and garnier fructis anti frizz serum when it’s almost dry which has helped a little bit but not much. If I brush it, it gets fluffy and super frizzy. Looking for advice on how to properly care for it and for it to look it’s best?

I dyed my hair black well over a month back. I have probably washed it 7 or so times. When I sit on the couch or in a plastic chair, the next thing I touch results in a shock. It has been quite infuriating. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows why it's been happening?

Does your hair feel squeaky clean, to the point you feel you might damage your hair if you touch it when it’s wet?
After years of not having hair, I don’t really remember what hair is supposed to feel like when your shampoo suits your hair type.

As someone with 3c hair, I have researched whether I could change the shape of my follicles to make my curls coilier and more of an afri. It has said vitamins can do this but never said which ones. Anyone know anything about this???

My hair is really dry and damaged due to extensive bleach and heat damage. I have a natural wavy pattern but due to the condition and dryness of my hair whatever routine I try (curl cream, gel, scrunching) never holds or just ends up looking oily. Does anyone know how I can really hydrate my hair and get rid of the frizz or is it beyond saving.

What does this even mean? I see Redken has a new line dropping on May 1st and it’s tempting to try it out since I’m naturally curly but am just learning to properly care and style for it (straightening it multiple times a week for 15+ years).
Would it be worth it? I currently just use head and shoulders shampoo, cantu conditioner, and NYM Curl talk cream and mousse. I can definitely tell an improvement in my hair since I’ve been styling it curly the past 5 months or so. I didn’t know if something like this would help. Would drugstore acidic bonding products work just the same? Is it worth it ..read more

I feel like I have a hair type that not everyone relates to. Ever since I’ve had memory, my hair has always been this way. My hair looks mostly wavy, but my hairline is always puffy and my hair is always standing up there. It’s kind of hard to find people with similar hair in person or on the internet. Every time I search up hair content on the internet, what I see is that everyone either has normal curly, normal wavy, normal straight hair, or normal kinky hair, but never my type of hair. And, for that reason, following internet hair tips can be tricky, most tips won't work for me in the way ..read more
