On our latesst trip to DC, we take a fresh look at the National AFAM Museum. It was even more impressive the second time around. Some of the exhibits are breaktaking while others are hard to look at because of the sheer brutality involved. I have learned that there can be no American History without the inclusion of African American History and vice-versa. The curators do an excellent job of preserving and presenting history honestly, openly and with dignity and respect. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most popular National Park in the country and hosts well over ten-million annual visitors. Still not impressed?
