Dirt Bike Rider ceased publication in late 2022 and the rights to the magazine and website were sold to WW Magazines.
With no magazine in preparation at the time of the sale there was inevitably going to be a gap before publication could resume. But some good news. WW Magazines has also recently acquired the rights to TMX – the weekly newspaper serving the world of trials and motocross since 1977, but sadly closed in October 2022.

André Malherbe, the former three-time FIM 500cc Motocross World Champion, has died at the age of sixty-six.
Born in Huy, Belgium on 21 March 1956 André first made his mark on the international off-road scene by winning the FIM 125cc Motocross European Championship in both 1973 and 1974.
Born the son of a motorcycle dealer, young Malherbe started racing at just seven years old and was always destined to reach the top after showing exceptional speed and skill even in his early days on track. Former British motocross number one and world number four, Tru7 Group Honda rider Jake Nicholls, has joined the expanding list of top athletes for next year’s Arenacross series.
Nicholls retired from motocross racing earlier this year, after a professional career that started in 2007, to focus his efforts on the family business Tru7 Group as Managing Director.
However, racing has always been in his blood and once he heard about the plans for the all-British Arenacross, he dusted off his race boots and signed up for the full six-round series.

Three-times British Motocross Champion and MMXGP winner Shaun Simpson will race the full six-round Arenacross championship next year.
The popular Scot, who successfully contested both MX1 and MX2 on the world stage, will campaign the super-fast, super-challenging series with the Gabriel KTM Motocross team.

Reigning British Motocross Champion Tommy Searle has thrown his hit in the ring and signed up to contest the full six-round action-packed 2023 Arenacross series.

German rider Ken Roczen is the new World Supercross champion after finishing second in a dramatic WSX Australian Grand Prix.
The WSX title ends a championship drought for the Honda rider. American Joey Savatgy won the WSX race with Roczen second and America’s Justin Brayton in third.

MXGP bosses have this morning revealed the provisional 2013 calendar.
It is is set to kick off on the 12th of March at the MXGP of Patagonia Argentina in the stunning Villa la Angostura, followed by two events in locations to be confirmed on the 26th of March and then 8th and 10th of April.
