Do you have houseplant watering woes? It's a common struggle to master our leafy friend’s hydration needs. Underwatering, overwatering and even inconsistent watering can make our green babes live a less than thriving life.

This is a question we get often here at Plantstay and we would like to try to demystify the process. Here are 3 ways to know when it’s time to move your plant baby into a new pot with a fresh mix of soil.
The plant has been in the same soil mix for over a year. In nature the soil that plants grow in is being constantly replenished by decaying material and aerated by insects and other creatures. Syngonium “Pink Splash” is one of our favorites in our rare plant restocks. Arrow-shaped leaves with variable patterns so that every new leaf is a surprise.

We scheduled our first pop-up for April 2020. And then the pandemic happened. We thought our dreams of opening a plant shop in Gainesville would be put on hold indefinitely as we, and the rest of the world, navigated our way through some very frightening times. We slowly came to the decision that it was time to proceed with our dream, and I had a ton of plants ready for new homes!
