I've been wondering if I could buy a canvas "wall decor" and paint over it because I like the look of a framed piece but I don't want to commit to a big expensive blank canvas. I found this one at Target and my husband kindly lifted several of them off the wall in order to find one where the canvas (or whatever it is) was tight. Some of them are so ridiculously loose! I'd like to remind everyone not to reply to the automated emails that come from the forum. For example, when you get an email about a reply to a watched thread or a reply to something you posted. When you reply to those via email, they go to the trash folder in the forum's Gmail account; they don't go to the person involved in the conversation. Hi folks, as part of my daily art, I ended up doing some "portraits" mostly to get a handle on value, shapes, form etc and I keep running out of subjects. I've posted a couple of these.
