The Torque Report

When Honda unveiled the 2025 Civic Hybrid a few months ago, it announced that it would have more torque than the Civic Si, so it made us wonder what Honda had planned for the Civic Si. Honda has now unveiled the updates to the 2025 Honda Civic Si, which gets a facelift and improved tech features, but sadly not any extra power under the hood. The styling updates are small with a more aggressive front fascia, new grille, revised taillights, and matte black V-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels. It’s also now available in Urban Gray Pearl, which is the same color that’s offered on the Accord and CR-V. In ..read more

We kinda thought Honda would be ready to release an all-new Odyssey minivan by now, but instead Honda has unveiled a slightly refreshed version for the 2025 model year. The 2025 Odyssey has received slightly restyled front and rear fascias and improved tech features, but is it enough to keep it competitive with all its newer competitors, like the Toyota Sienna and Kia Carnival? On the outside the 2025 Honda Odyssey includes a sportier grille, and reshaped front and rear fascias. The new front fascia looks a bit more aggressive with larger black fog lights and the redesigned rear bumper integr ..read more

It’s true that many car buyers are not ready to make the transition to fully electric vehicles, which means that hybrid and even plug-in hybrid models are more desirable. Lexus recently introduced its first EV, the RZ, but due to its limited range, it’s not entirely appealing. Fortunately Lexus offers another midsize SUV that’s available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The 2024 Lexus RX 450h+ Plug-in Hybrid is a notable addition to the RX lineup, since it takes everything you already love about the RX and then adds a plug-in hybrid system that allows for electric only driving for short dista ..read more
