Found this old girl in a basement cellar unopened, i suspect about 20 years old but can't say for sure. it's quite dark in real life, mich like a very old white wine.

Pretty cool. Stuff. Obviously the obligatory question of how much they are worth. But also if someone knows how to find the year they are from?? Some have tax stamp on them, but they don’t say a year. Just some kind of serial number.

There was a craft vodka that I enjoyed and I recently repurchased it and the flavour seems to be different. Can a vodka change from batch to batch?

I’ve never had slivovitz before, but I’ve been hearing about it for 50 years, usually around Passover time.
I saw a bottle at my local liquor store. It was a little under $40.
I’m usually a whisky guy, but whiskey isn’t permitted on Passover, so I’m thinking of giving this a try.
I know it’s difficult to describe a taste, but perhaps someone here can give it a try?
(In case you’re curious: During Passover, nothing made from the five Biblical grains may be eaten, matzoh being the only exception. So no whiskey.)
