Can you tell me more about this console?
I do prefer handhelds now that I’ve gotten older, and I want to buy a Nintendo switch but people have been mentioning steam deck has more games, and you can play PS1, PS2, PS3 games, I am not sure if it’s genuine, what sort of games are there out the box? I wouldn’t want to tinker all the time. Nintendo switch appeals to me because I can just turn on and play ..read more

I didn't really know where to post this on the forum, it doesn't have a dedicated anime or manga section, so this was the best place I could think of.
One of the most legendary anime and manga creators, Akira Toriyama has passed away at the age of 68.

I've been watching videos about obscure gaming hardware and consoles.
This was set to compete with N64, Saturn and PlayStation.

This was set to compete with Mega Drive and SNES and other cd things around at that time.

I don't care what anyone says but the Sega mega cd wasn't a failure (the 32X definitely was though)
Bet you didn't know about the PlayStation phone.

What’s people thoughts on the PS5 unlikely to get price cut. Even though it just got a £60 price cut no new games for now and talk it’s already half way through its cycle? Maybe the PS6 is due soon?

Anyone else jumped on it yet?
I’ve been playing since I got back from work, after the first hour when I finally got my own ship and understood what the hell I was doing it was actually ok, but there’s no chance in hell I’ll ever buy the game at the price they’re asking for ..read more

With the 32X we could have harnessed the power of the saturn but still have our mega drive and possibly mega cd to play too.
Just imagine if every console had an add on option. You could have an X Box 1, X Box 360 and X box in one consolse, with a small selection of games harnessing the power of different console combinations. If other manufacturers allowed it could have had a PS3 added on and a Wii u too ..read more

Early access started in New Zealand, servers already down due to a bug that automatically completed the game when they logged in. This is why games where you have to be constantly online to play need to be killed off immediately.

Microsoft coming out swinging the axe in 2024, layoffs include employees over at Activision, and on top of this the survival game Odyssey that has been in development for over 6 years is now cancelled.
A poster on some forum (I saw screen shot of on Twitter/x) posted back in November 2022 about the Activision deal - “Looking at around 1,960 redundancies, probably more once it gets folded into Microsoft. Thousands of cuts so that you can get CoD on gamepass”
Over all in the gaming industry we’ve had 5,600 layoffs in 2024 already over half (10,500) of the layoffs in 2023 ..read more
