Most of us don't know if we will be 100% in-person learning in the fall, 100% remote learning, or a hybrid of both! One thing we do know is our littlest learners will have to get a quick hang of tech so that if we do move to distance learning they can know what to do from home! When thinking of products teachers will need this fall, it came to our mind we will need activities that can easily be uploaded to google slides or seesaw. Each teacher may prefer one platform over the other, which is why each product is preloaded for both :). It is pretty simple to get the product from TpT to ..read more

Are you having a hard time finding a balance between being a mom and teacher? As a new mom I was struggling to find this so called balance between working as a full time kinder teacher and being a mom. My mom stayed home with me growing up, and it was something I always hoped I could do as well. BUT, I also love my job as a Kindergarten teacher and did not want to give that up! It was the grade I always knew I wanted to teach, and to walk away seemed impossible. I knew I would miss it and not feel that fulfillment of having a career. (Anyone else never know what they want?)? That is when m ..read more

However, we felt that at times we did not know if students were on the correct apps, learning from them, etc! We decided we needed something specific for students to focus on during iPad time. That is when we started to use PowerPoint games! Why We Love Powerpoint Games: The great thing about these games is students are told immediately if they answered correctly. They also get to write down their answers on a recording sheet! This was huge for us because now ..read more

With distance learning being a must, teachers are needing to use apps and websites to just survive! I wanted to pass on to you about this great app I have used in the last year in my kindergarten classroom. It is called Seesaw. I loved it so much I became an Ambassador for Seesaw! What is Seesaw? Seesaw is a an awesome free, digital portfolio you can use with your students and also a great communication tool for your parents!  Your students will be able to take a photo, video, draw or write a note. What is great is that they then can record their voice and explain their work. The ..read more
