Timetables. You either love them or hate them – whilst the majority of us know that the timetabling department aren’t purposely trying to ruin our lives (it can’t be an easy job creating a schedule for every course), it can be kind of annoying if you have an early morning AND late evening class with nothing in between. The likelihood that some aspects of your course will be more or less engaging than other aspects is high. Some modules may require more attention in order for it to ‘click’ in your head, so it’s important to always have a fresh mind when tackling these times. Saturday 3 December 2022 is International Day of Disabilities. Disabilities can be defined as any physical or mental condition that limits a person’s movements, senses or activities. The international day is a United Nations day that promotes the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. Hiya, The time finally arrived for me to go to the Summer Ball! I’d never been before due to the pandemic so this was my first and last time going and I made every second count! I didn’t make it to the famous survivors photos (sorry for the spoilers) but I did have an amazing time and an amazing sleep after as I was knackered! LGBT Pride Month is here and runs all throughout the month of June. A month to shed light onto the community and all the challenges, progression, icons, and history of the community. However in the earlier days May, SUBU and the part-time officers for the LGBTQ+ community work together to create BU’s pride event.
