Content warning: Discussion of slavery, racism and enslavement.
This episode takes one more look at another aspect of the American Revolution and how it impacted Canada through the role slavery played in the Revolution. I then discuss one of the aftermaths of the Revolution in the Black Loyalists.

This one will probably be my longest Counterfactual Puck episode.
It explores the life and times of Don Cherry and numerous counterfactuals that could have occurred during it.
My own biased thoughts on Cherry begin around the 36-minute mark so you can turn the episode off then if you're not interested.

Sorry for the delay on this one. Reorganizing our house changed up my recording space and I've not been happy with the way my audio has sounded since. This one still isn't perfect in my opinion, but I think I managed to make it work (other than the birdsong in the beginning).
This episode is another No Canada one as I recap the prelude to the American Revolution and then discuss how it could have been avoided from even happening in the first place.
The next few episodes will look at the American Revolution and its impact on Canada from a
couple of different angles.

Note: At around the 1:50 mark, I mistakenly say "French and American War" instead of "French and Indian War".
This episode is an interlude as I transition between the French and Indian War and the American Revolution, as I take a wider look at the idea of two separate Frances coming about due to divergences that culminate during the French Revolution.

This episode is a new No Canada one, first one in a while.
I combine a number of themes and ideas from previous episodes to create a scenario in which the British decided to expel the Quebecois from Quebec after the conquest of new France.
Two things to note:
1. Content warning for this episode for discussions of genocide and ethnic cleansing.
2. I've corrected my pronunciation of Mi'kmaq - I'd previously been putting in an extra "a" sound in the middle. My apologies for getting this wrong in episodes to date, something I hope to have a chance to fix at some point.

This is the last part of a three-part series on the worldwide conflicts that led to the fall of New France and one of the biggest early moments in Canadian history.
This episode returns to North America and examines Pontiac's Rebellion, an Indigenous uprising against the coming of British rule that resulted in a change to British policy toward Indigenous nations with long-term consequences on all sides.

This is the second part of three-part series on the worldwide conflicts that led to the fall of New France and one of the biggest early moments in Canadian history.
This episode largely focused on Europe with an examination of the Seven Years' War, with then a quick review of conflicts outside of Europe and North America, and, of course, some counterfactuals around all this.

For this episode of Counterfactual Puck, I go full Canucks fan and take a look at the 1982 Stanley Cup Playoffs. And, yes, in one scenario, the Canucks do win the Stanley Cup, but I also try to be a bit more objective and do some other scenarios that could have happened with a bounce or two.
