AA is part of a larger recovery peer2peer community. Evidence shows that AA works for over 1/2 that give a go; what about the others: Refuge Recovery/Recovery Dharma, She Recovery, Women for Sobriety, Life Ring, SMART Recovery? Evidence shows that while none have better outcome rates than 12-step approaches, the same good results can be found in all mutual aid support communities.
