I haven’t been here for a while. I have been preoccupied with a few things. My Mum has Parkinson’s Disease and has been unable to look after herself for a while now. She is 87 years old and now is the grip of the cognitive decline that comes with Parkinson’s. I have become her Guardian which is very emotional in itself because it is the last of her being an independent person. I have found it uncomfortable at times taking charge of her affairs.
