We are excited to share that our Principal, Dominic Fanelli, has been selected as this year’s recipient of the Michael Pressley Award for Excellence in Catholic Education!
The ACE program at the University of Notre Dame established the award in 2006 as a way to honor Dr. Pressley’s scholarship and service. It annually recognizes ACE Teaching Fellows graduates who have been out of the program between five and ten years, and who have distinguished themselves in their significant contributions and commitment to the ministry of Catholic Education.

Benedictine Wrestling will compete at the OHSAA Division II State Tournament today and tomorrow! The Men of Benedictine held a clap out for these guys as they left for Columbus yesterday. Good luck to Senior State Qualifier Jake Dolan and our state alternates, Sophomores Chris Maloney and Antonio Hobbs!
Jake Dolan has qualified for the State Tournament for a second time and will wrestle at 138lbs after his 2nd place finish at Districts. This Senior achieved his 100th win earlier this year at our home meet on Senior Night.

Dominic has served as the Assistant Principal since July of 2021, and in this short time, has made an immediate and positive impact on the operations of the school in the areas of faculty professional development, student accountability and leadership, and community spirituality, among others. Orders are dine in or take out and can be ordered ahead of time by phone or in person. The dinners this year are baked fish, fried fish, shrimp, or pierogi. Click here for more information.
A dinner includes your french fries, cole slaw or apple sauce, bread, and a dessert.
We will also have sides (such as Mac and Cheese, pizza, onion rings, grilled cheese, or clam chowder) and a bake sale.

The generous $2 million dollar gift from The Howley Foundation will be used to provide financial support to 40 of our students, as well as to invest in the Centennial Campaign, specifically to the science facilities, which will now be known as The Howley Science Wing.
