On September the 7th 1974, 30 year old Tom Hewitt had been at his garage on Bright Street in Bury. At around 11:30am, a co-owner of the garage turned up and found Tom with severe head injuries. He later died from his injuries. In the early hours of the 14th August 1982, Gurcharan Singh Landa or John Landa as he was commonly known was stabbed 87 times in the taxi that he drove in Nottingham. A huge investigation was launched with a witness even seeing the murder take place however since then his murder has remained unsolved. On the 27th of August 2020, suspicious bin bags were reported floating in the River Stour in Sudbury in Suffolk. The bin bags were found to contain human bones and this person was named the Sudbury Man. To this day, this man is still unidentified despite the fact that he was murdered and suspicions possibly lying with organised crime. In the afternoon of the 29th June 1964, 15 year old Yvonne Laker was travelling on a train from Southampton back to her boarding school in Maidstone. After being waved off by her Grandad she set off. On the 13th of January 1978, Anthony Culverwell returned to his home in Bath, Somerset. He expected to see his wife Beryl at home as usual but he couldn't find her anywhere. On the 29th of July 2006, a man driving through the village of Wooburn Green in Buckinghamshire came across the smouldering body of 23 year old Beata Bryl.
