A man thought to have gunshot wounds arrived at the Werribee Mercy Hospital followed by police shortly after 12.30 am on 11 September. A Police investigation is ongoing and they have yet to establish how the man obtained his injuries. The Werribee News understands the man was believed to have driven himself to Werribee Mercy Hospital and entered via the emergecy room main front doors early this morning. Record numbers e-scooter riders are being admitted to Melbourne’s intensive care units as people continue to ignore the regulations. From high-speed collisions to late-night collisions, the number of admissions at The Alfred Hospital’s trauma centre has doubled from 24 to 49 this year, as a result of e-bike and e-scooter usage. Only four students were admitted in 2019-2020, and just two were admitted in 2018-2019. Eve helps out at the Youth Resource Centre in Hoppers Crossing as well as volunteering at a variety of Youth events in Wyndham.
