New York Jets could be targeting a specific wide receiver prospect
The NFL draft is less than a week away and anything can happen. Tight end Brock Bowers is the current betting favorite to be the New York Jets’ first selection, but the Jets could target one of the top three wide receivers or an offensive tackle instead.
Dane Brugler, a draft analyst for The Athletic, reported that the Jets have their eyes on a wide receiver prospect who sits outside of the consensus top-three. Speaking to The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt, Brugler revealed that the Jets have “done a lot of work on Brian Thomas J ..read more

It seems like the Patriots truly did attempt to screw the New York Jets in the 2023 draft
A former major adversary of the New York Jets has given some insight into a highly debated maneuver he performed in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Appearing on the “Pat McAfee Show,” Bill Belichick spoke about his trade down that allowed the Pittsburgh Steelers to draft Georgia tackle Broderick Jones one spot ahead of the Jets.
“We only traded back a couple of spots. We were pretty confident that the Steelers were looking for a tackle, and we were pretty confident that the Jets weren’t going to take a corner becaus ..read more

The New York Jets have to make a decision on Alijah Vera-Tucker soon
While all eyes are on the 2024 NFL Draft, the New York Jets have another decision to make in the next few weeks.
May 2 is the deadline for NFL teams to decide on fifth-year options for first-round picks from the 2021 draft. On Tuesday, the Miami Dolphins picked up the fifth-year options for wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and edge rusher Jaelan Philips, making them the first team to do so. Waddle and Philips have developed into two of the best young players at their positions, making this an easy decision.

The New York Jets really know how to rile up their fanbase on social media. They’ve got it down to a science.
Just a few days after earning rave reviews for their new uniforms and logo, the Jets shared videos of quarterback Aaron Rodgers throwing passes on the team’s practice field in Florham Park, New Jersey. The New York Jets pranked their players into rating the new uniforms
After the New York Jets released their new uniforms, their social media team couldn’t help but have some fun with them. Why waste a good opportunity to pull one over the team?
They set up a classic mannequin prank to scare the players while rating the uniforms.
While the X (formerly Twitter) post about it gives the prank away, the video also shows that it largely worked.
The players were asked to rate the new uniform on what was ostensibly a No. 24 mannequin. In reality, there was a real person there to scare the players. So ..read more

The New York Jets aren’t ignoring defense as they prepare for the 2024 NFL draft
While the New York Jets are mainly focusing on visits with offensive prospects in the 2024 NFL draft, the team is still doing work on the other side of the ball.
Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz reported that the Jets were in attendance for Illinois defensive tackle Johnny Newton’s pro day. Schultz said Newton showed “elite explosion and power after a Jones fracture that he’s fully healed from.”
