It was honestly a slow reading year for me.  But still, I found a few fantastic romance gems that are worth talking about. In no particular order, here they are:   Butcher and Blackbird by Brynne Weaver I had never heard of a "dark rom com" until I saw an ad for this book. Do with that info what you will:  Someday Someday by Emma Scott Heart wrenching, gut-punching emotion and angst. Maybe the most beautiful M/M romance I've ever read. I've recently noticed some readers dragging authors to hell and back on the interwebs for taking their books out of Kindle Unlimited.
