OM Shanti, Shanti, Shanti! Along with OM chanting, if you make a conscious effort to silence the body, mind, and core (spirit), it is much more useful than otherwise. As a mantra, you can extend the OM with 3 times repeating 'Shanti', a Sanskrit word indicating silence. The first Shanti represents silence of body, second Shanti represents silence of mind, and the third Shanti represents silence of spirit.
