Gene Durden:Overall, Coach Durden is going into his 36th season as a head coach. This past year the Lady Wolves achieved a 27 and 4 record before being eliminated in the "Final Four" of the 7A state tournament. Durden's Lady Wolves have played in ten of the past fifteen state championship games, while winning the state titles in 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2015, 2011, 2010 and 2009. Brian has been married to his wife Melissa for 20 years and they have 4 children. Ben, who was a 4 sport athlete at North Linn and is now a freshman at Kirkwood studying criminal justice. Meghan, a senior who participated in cross country, basketball, and track in high school. She will attend UNI next year to study kinesiology and continue her cross country and track career.
