What does an instructor do if a student or a coworker confides to them an instance of sexual assault? In its efforts to create a University community free from sexual assault and relationship violence, UMD has instituted Sexual Assault Awareness, Prevention and Reporting training, not just for counseling services or the Women's Resource and Action Center, but for all faculty and staff.

Duluth musician Peter Witrak performed his own blend of Brazilian-inflected jazz/lounge under the name Tender Ness. He released an album in 2016 and, rumor has it, is working on a new EP. After the fog has lifted later this week, one can find art in several places throughout the region: The Two Harbors Art Fair Friday, 8/13 through Sunday, 8/15. People still haven't got the message that turning unwanted goldfish loose into your local lake, pond, or slough is a bad idea. Despite education - and even adoption - efforts by groups like Minnesota Seagrant , goldfish are still finding their way into bodies of water in the state, where they could possibly spead disease to native fish. My son sat with my wife next to Ed. Irina stood at the head of the bed next to him. I wanted my son to see how we respect the people who so selflessly teach and nurture us.
