God’s Resources, Not Ours As counselors, we need to increasingly rely on God’s resources, not ours. 2 Corinthians 3:5 states: “Our sufficiency is from God.” We are not sufficient of ourselves. Apart from Christ in us, we cannot produce what life demands or what God desires. This is humbling yet liberating. It's humbling to realize we lack what's essential for true living.
