Choosing Love
Love God Greatly

Some say love is a feeling, but I believe it’s a choice. It’s choosing to love, even if and when we don’t feel like it. I never fully comprehended this kind of love until I walked through divorce. The kind of Christ-like love that chooses not to retaliate or repay evil for evil. To choose to keep my eyes up and on Christ and off of myself and my circumstances. To choose love in the face of betrayal and a broken heart. Choosing love does not ignore or excuse poor behavior and abuse. Choosing love does not put a pretty face on heartbreaking circumstances.  Choosing love releases us from tr ..read more

Home with Christ
Love God Greatly

Near the end of 2023, I began thinking and praying about what my word of the year for 2024 would be, or the word that I would pray would mark the upcoming year. God brought a simple word to mind: home. Home? God, what do you want me to know about the word home? In this life, we are not quite home. We have been set apart as believers in Christ, but we remain in a broken, fallen world until we pass from this life to the next. Our true, eternal home is with Jesus in heaven. How can we live in the reality of being in Christ but not being with Christ just yet? I am still personally asking God for ..read more

From the Nations Who He Says I Am — Every Love God Greatly study highlights one of the languages we serve – our new study, Triumph Over Trials: 1 & 2 Peter, includes the highlight of our Lithuanian branch! Join us in prayer for Morta, her team, and the women of her language and nation as you read her story, and help us spread God’s Word in Lithuanian! The Best is Yet to Come
Love God Greatly

Friend, living in the brokenness and sin of our world is hard. I know there are days when our hearts long for heaven, and our minds need rest. Rest from the “what ifs,” rest from the fears, and rest from the unknown. Learning to navigate through seasons of uncertainty, change, and unending challenges by focusing our hearts and minds on the truths of God’s Word can help us to focus on the security and hope that God has for us. Today, we can take comfort in God’s Word. God is a good, good Father, and He delights in reminding us of the promises we need to hear. So, despite the storms and challen ..read more

Our newest Bible study, Triumph Over Trials: 1 & 2 Peter, begins on Monday! We would LOVE to have you join us!!!  Grab your journal and dive into our introduction below! Who Was Peter? Peter was a passionate and devoted disciple, an “eyewitness of the sufferings of Christ.” Once a simple fisherman, Peter became a key leader in the early Christian church. He is often referred to as the “rock” on which Jesus built His church (Matthew 16:18). Peter did life with Jesus. He experienced Christ’s miracles firsthand and was entrusted with the keys to the kingdom. Peter witnessed the highs an ..read more

Triumph Over Trials for Kids
Love God Greatly

The best way to teach our children is by example. It is important to show them why we study the Bible, how they can study it themselves, and how they can grow in their own faith and relationship with God. But, we know that as busy moms, it’s hard to juggle individual things for each person in the family. That’s why in addition to our women’s Bible study journals, we also create journals for kids! These kids’ journals are meant to accompany our women’s journals and follow the same reading plan, so your child can study God’s Word alongside you. Our kids’ Bible study journals are full of fun gra ..read more

“For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received – that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.” We arrive at the end of our Lent study today and also the end of this amazing, deeply nourishing season in the church calendar. Easter is here with this weekend marking the peak of this particular season. As Advent is the waiting season to celebrate the birth of Christ on Christmas morning, so Lent is the preparation seaso ..read more

Good Friday
Love God Greatly

“It is finished.” These are some of the most chilling and simultaneously hope-filled words in the Bible. At this point in the story, it is hard not to burst into tears. How could Jesus die? What does He mean “it is finished”? In John 13:1 (ESV), it says, “When Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.” A few chapters later, as He hung on the cross, that hour had come! Imagine for a minute that this is your first time reading this story in John 18-19. You started back in Genesis, and you le ..read more
